2015 Volunteer Trip: Schools

Brenda, Peter and Emmanuel went out into the villages to deliver text books, school supplies and soccer & netball resources to the schools. The majority of the donated books are held at the Kahama Teacher Resource Centre.

Thank you to everyone who donated teacher and classroom supplies and to the teams and individuals who donated uniforms, cleats and soccer balls. We gave 2 to 4 sets of uniforms to each school visited - with three soccer balls per set. We ensure that the girls receive balls and uniforms too as they play netball. Special thanks to Tod and Dianna Marchant from Summerland who donated 400 of the 500 soccer balls collected. Most of the donated uniforms were originally donated to the children in the Okanagan by Wendy's Restaurants. It's awesome that their donation can also help kids in a third world country.
