Kahama Friendship Agreement

In 2008, after a presentation to council by Brenda, Summerland City Council formed a Friendship Agreement with Kahama. (A Friendship connection is not like a Sister City agreement - there is no financial commitment.)

February 14th 2008 Kahama District Head Paul Magazi signs the Friendship Agreement.

The One Person team gave the Kahama Council a scrapbook of photographs of Summerland, and brought back the gift of a Tanzanian flag and presented it to Mayor David Gregory and Council members.
